Wandering Soul – Peaceful Choir

The choral piece Wandering Soul was created as part of the “Peaceful Choir” project in collaboration with the World Choir for Peace, a choir with singers from 16 different countries. In addition to David Reichelt, composers Hans Zimmer, Max Richter, Arvo Pärt, Ola Gjeilo and Karl Jenkins were among those involved in the project.

Inspired by the Hungarian Dance No.1 by Johannes Brahms, David Reichelt composed the choral piece Wandering Soul, a piece about grief and hope. The calm, elegiac composition with romantic features tells the dramatic story of two lovers. The text was written by Jordan Prince.
