Simone Moro and Tamara Lunger are an unequal rope team. As a passionate winter mountaineer, Simone has a long list of summit successes to her name. Tamara is hot on the heels of her great role model. So far, the roles have been clearly distributed. When the two tackle the highest traverse on an eight-thousander on Kangchendzönga, circumstances force the perfectly matched duo to abruptly change roles.

The music for the documentary “La Congenialita” is large-scale. Imposing synthetic sounds open up spaces. Atmospheric sounds show the immense dimension of nature. David Reichelt composes a score that lets the immense dimensions of Kangchendzönga, which is at the center of the film, resound in sustained and spherical tones.
