In Hindafing Season 2, Alfons Zischl surprisingly became a member of the state parliament in Munich. His predecessor stumbled over a scandal, and Zischl is supposed to save what can be saved before the next state election. And this while his wife is heavily pregnant.

The film music around the intrigues and machinations of the mayor is set to music by David Reichelt in Hindafing season 2 with a wild, energetic jazz score. A trio of double bass, drums and saxophone set the tone. The sound palette is extended by a Fender Rhodes.
