CALL MY AGENT BERLIN
Disney+ Series | Director: Boris Kunz, Laura Lackmann, Johann Buchholz (2025)
After the sudden death of its founder, the acting agency “Stern” is on the brink of collapse. While celebrities parade through the corridors, the agents behind the scenes fight for contracts, new talent and their survival – with heart, manipulation and plenty of humor. Call my Agent Berlin is an explosive cocktail of betrayal, love, friendship and showbiz drama.
The soundtrack of "Call my Agent"
The style is classical in gesture and purely orchestral – deliberately simple in its orientation in order to give the events a clear emotional structure. Instruments have been assigned to the characters: We meet Sophie on the flute, Sascha on the violin and Gabor on the clarinet. At the center is the musical motif of negotiation – staged as a sophisticated game between the agents. The music takes on an operatic quality, which is repeatedly broken up by modern elements such as sampled vocals, electronic beats and deep bass.
The original soundtrack was composed entirely by David Reichelt and recorded with orchestra and soloists – including Bianca Fiorita (flute), Alexandra Gruber (clarinet), Caroline Adler (vocals), Amy Park (violin) and Rabia Aydin (cello).
Christian Prommer also contributed arrangements of well-known classical works to the series, which he transformed into contemporary adaptations.
